Philippine boxer Harry Tanamor loses to world champion Zou Shiming

It was another day of disappointment for the Philippine boxing team delegation in the 2007 AIBA 2007 world boxing championships in Chicago as Harry Tanamor the lone survivor for the Team Philippines to reach the final round lost to highly regarding world championship Zou Shiming of China. Harry Tanamor was the underdog going to this bout as Zou Shiming is the world champions going into this final round. The score of 17-3 in favor of Zou showed the lopsidedness of the fight and his dominance his the light flyweight division.

Nevertheless, the two Asian boxers will get their chance to meet again in the 2008 Olympic boxing competition as both have already qualified for the Olympics by reaching the quarterfinals of this tournament.
