USA Women's Soccer Team Shows the English 3-0

The U.S.A's "Three Lionesses" scored the most damaged against English women's soccer team in this match-up today at the 2007 FIFA women's world cup. Abby Wambach, Shannon Boxx and Kristine Lilly drove the "last nail on the coffin" of the english women's bid to advance to the next round. Despite the big lead in goals, it was defense that won it for the Americans as the English also went aggressive to score but they held their own against the English soccer team's offense. Player of the match is Kristine Lilly who scored the easiest goal of the match. This tournament is an Olympic Qualifiers for the women's soccer competition.
