Team USA Women Basketball never gave Cuba a chance in this championship game in Valdivia, Chile. The made sure they will get the one and only ticket to the 2008 Olympics in this tournament by winning the Championship of the FIBA Americas Championship for Women. In contrast to their first game with the Cubans in this tournament, the game was never even close almost not exciting and ended up with a landslide score of 101-71 in favor of the American women.
