The 2007 Taekwondo Olympics Qualification Tournament in Manchester in England concluded today with triumphs and heartbreak for different participants from 104 countries. Some Taekwondo jins have sealed their entry to the 2008 Beijing Olympics Taekwondo competition by placing within the top 3 of their weight divisions.
The most successful of the country participants in the tournament is Korea having qualified 4 taekwondo jins to the 2008 Olympics! While France, Cuba, Canada, Italy and Chinese Taipei have qualified 2 taekwondo players each for the Olympics next year. Countries United States, Great Britain, Germany, the Philippines, Australia, Mali, Croatia, Greece, Mexico and Thailand are assured of 1 Olympic berth for next year Olympic Taekwondo competition.
