Australian Oarswoman Sally Robbins missed her chances to qualify because she was not "fast enough" according to Australian Performance director Noel Donaldson. Robbins was bested by Catriona Sens and Sonia Mills. Full story found here.The Australian women's basketball team, on the other hand, proved they are a force to reckon with in the 2008 Summer Olympics as they defeated their Team USA counterparts in the 2008 Good Luck Beijing women's basketball international invitation 74-60.
