All-Chinese Finals at the 2007 Beijing International Badminton Tournament

For the 2007 Beijing International Badminton tournament, it's 2 Chinese netters for the men's singles finals later today. This Olympics badminton test event is held to assess the competition and the venue preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics competition. World number 1 Lin Dan easily won his match against the lone foreigner in the semi-finals Vietnamese number 1 Nguyen Tien Mihn 21-12 and 21-15. While another top seeded Chinese player Bao Chunlai defeats his compatriot Li Yu 21-14 and 21-15 in the other semi-finals match.

For the other competitions in the tournament, it's still a Chinese badminton domination story. In the women's singles category, Zhu Lin beats Zhang Ning in their semi-finals match. Zhu will now be facing Xie Xingfang who dropped Zhu Jingjing in their semi-finals match-up. In the double match finals, it's going to be Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng against Guo Zhedong and Xie Zhongbo for the men's category. On the women's side it would be Wei Yili and Zhang Yawen against Zhao Tingting and Huang sui. Mixed double semi-finals today will feature Gao Ling Zheng Bo against Zhang Yawen and Xie Zhongbo.
