The 59th Yonex Dutch Open will be held from 16 till 21 October at the (new) Topsport Centre in Almere. As per the Olympic Qualifying Regulations for Beijing 2008, it is a qualifying event that participating badminton players get a chance to increase their standings in the world ranking which decides the Olympic qualifiers for badminton. Tuesday October 16: 10.00 AM – 10.00 PM (qualification event)
Wednesday October 17: 9.00 AM – 11.00 PM (first rounds main event)
Thursday October 18: 1 PM – 10.00 PM (second rounds main event)
Friday October 19: 2.00 PM – 10.00 PM (quarter finales main event)
Saturday October 20: 1.00 PM – 7.00 PM (semi finals main event)
Sunday October 21: noon (12 PM) – 5.00 PM (all finals)
