The Swedish Women's Soccer team fails to win a quarterfinals seat with the win against N.Korea

Needing to win this match against the tough North Korean Soccer Team, the Swedes came up short of 2 goals to gain the quarterfinals seat which should have been against Germany. Instead their rival for the game, by virtue of a more superior score quotient, arranged that quarterfinals match against the Germans for themselves on Saturday. Two goals by Swedish player Charlotta Schelin won the game for the Swedes but the lone goal for North Korea by player Ri Un-Suk gave them enough to move on to the next round which will be a knock-out match against the German women's soccer team.
