Marcos Antonio Torres - Filipino Olympic Torch Bearer Nominee

After almost a whole day after blogging about Marcos Antonio Torres' bid to be an Olympics Torch Bearer in Beijing next year, he got about 60 votes! Thank you to all those I urged to vote for him! I'd like to think I had a big part of him getting 60 votes today. :D I posted in some sports forums to urge others to vote for him.
There's a lot more votes needed to be cast for him to get his bid! The vote rankings is currently led by a Colombian with about 4500 plus votes. If only we could create more awareness for his behalf, I'm pretty sure our Filipino online community can bring him on top of that list of 2008 Olympics torch bearer nominees.
