I have previous written my own prediction about the medal results for the 2008 Beijing Olympics last year. And it looks like Russia is not going for Gold in the overall team standing in August 2008. According to a www.chinaview.cn news article, Russia will only be planning to aim at the third overall spot. The 3rd overall spot is what i predicted Russia will end up with last August 24, 2007.
